2nd Annual JIM POOLE CLASSIC BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

The 2nd Annual JIM POOLE CLASSIC BADMINTON TOURNAMENT featured perfect mid-70s degree weather, a picnic out front the AZBC facility throughout the tournament, and some special out-of-town guests from CA, Canada, and Hawaii, which spiced up the competition in the hall. Jim Poole (photo circa 1960 to the left), who has the most US National badminton titles in history, was our honored guest through the finals. 60 participants kept the courts filled for 10 hours of non-stop action in Doubles and Mixed events for Men and Women in Open, B, and Masters divisions. The final results are below:
