First time playing?

Yes, new players can come play.

AZBC welcomes first-time visitors, recreational players, juniors, adults, seniors, and competitive players. The easiest first step is to come during open play or contact AZBC for the right class or lesson if you are brand new.

Open play style

Doubles rotation, rally scoring, mixed levels, and a community-first environment.

Best first step

Check the schedule, bring indoor court shoes, and ask staff where to start.

Want coaching first?

Intro classes and private lessons help new players learn grip, footwork, scoring, serving, and doubles flow.

Court expectations

Know the basics before you step on court.

Wear indoor court shoes.

Non-marking shoes protect the flooring and keep players safer.

Rotate fairly during busy open play.

AZBC open play depends on players sharing courts and keeping games moving.

Respect training and lesson blocks.

Some courts close for classes, private lessons, camps, or tournaments.

Ask staff where to play.

Newer players can be matched to the right level, class, or court group.
