2022 AZBC ARIZONA BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIPS

YuanJea Hew and Chinmai Basavaraj- Open Men Doubles Champions; Siwei Yan and Yuni Yeoh- Open Women Doubles Champions

Sat, April 23 & Sat, April 30, 2022, Mesa... A ferocious two consecutive Saturdays of competition revealed this year's Arizona Champions in Junior, Collegiate, Open and Senior divisions for Women & Men Singles, Women & Men Doubles and Mixed Doubles. The second Saturday of Singles and Mixed Doubles play was particular tough with 12 hours of matches, including 17 three-game battles!

Highlights include Karthik Raman winning the Junior triple crown-- Jr Boys Singles, Doubles, and Mixed; Katheryn Yi winning the Jr Girls Singles and Doubles; Neha Shakir winning the Collegiate and Open Women Singles; Sue Kwon winning the Collegiate Women Doubles and Mixed Doubles; Siwei Yan and Yuni Yeoh winning the Open Women Doubles; Chinmai Basavaraj winning the Open Men Singles and Open Men Doubles with YuanJea Hew; and Seigo Hashimoto and Mai Le winning the Open Mixed Doubles. The Open Champions have their names etched on the perpetual plaque displayed in the AZBC lobby. The complete results are as follows:
